Default Baccarat Video Training vs Baccarat Books

Baccarat book publishing companies are starting to complain that their book sales way are down. Just the other day I saw on a casino forum someone urging moderators on their popular forum to remove sticky threads to posts that contained too much good information as it is hurting their book selling division.

Is this a result of less new baccarat players wanting to read books? Unlikely. Baccarat Video Training Sites are on the rise, as this is becoming the preferred way for players to learn how to play baccarat. These sites are run by winning online baccarat players and contain much better analysis on how to win the game then you would get from a book written many years back.

Many of the books do not address online baccarat strategy, which is completely different then playing a live game. Players online are much more aggressive and can't rely on "baccarat tells" like their offline counterparts. Baccarat Training Sites allow you to watch a winning player walk you through a game as they play it online. They tell you how they are thinking at each play, which helps new players achieve a winning mindset in a much shorter time.

The advantage is that these videos deal with all the different types of online games, such as Punto Banco (North American Baccarat), Baccarat Chemin de Fer, Baccarat Banque, Mini-Baccarat, Midi-Baccarat, Makccarat, Double Fortune Baccarat and the increasingly popular 3 Card Baccarat game.

Well, unlike books, which deal more with baccarat theory, the video sites let the reader view the game through the eyes of the player.

This doesn't mean that all books are bad. There are still many baccarat books that players should read as they teach a lot of the fundamentals of the game that some of the videos sites don't do a great job covering.
