Default The Discipline of A Baccarat Player

Today I learn the most painful lesson of playing Baccarat. I crashed in the first hour. My mind was not focused and I didn't attempt to cut loss when the going is not so good.

I have broken my own rules and not stick to my own 1-2 units rule. The deviation from the my usual practice that made money has cost me dearly today. When you start losing, you lose confidence in your own judgement. Call it bad luck, but there are signs which will point to your exit from the casino. For me eight consecutive losses would have been a good indicator to leave. The vibes would have told me so, but I was too stubborn.

And worst of while, chasing losses. The losses will just snowball when things are not going your way. WALK OUT AND GO HOME !!!

Sometimes we get too obsessed with winning every day that we can't manage the loss and expect things to recover. I have been winning every week but not every day. I think there will be a day when the shoe is just not what you want or expect.

So I think it's possible to win every week in Baccarat after a few months of playing this game. And managing your bankroll or capital is so damn important! If you win on the average 2k a day, stop your losses at 2k. If you lose 6k, then you will need 3 days to recover the losses. Simple mathematics. But the lack of discipline will kill you.

When your strategy has been paying you well, stick to it. If you have been winning 9 out of 10 days, then that method or strategy is working well. STICK TO IT! I have been playing 1-2units, but today I got into 5 units and 10 units of my usual bankroll, thats where it started crashing.

In summary, DISCIPLINE !!! Develop it or lose your money ie. if you are absolutely committed to winning Bacccarat. Don't play for fun, play to win.

    Good luck everyone.

Hope you will make the money back. Remember you are not alone in this experience, I have been there and done that countless of times so don't feel bad my friend. Good luck to you, too.

It also has alot to do with convenience. I live in a city with 7 casinos. So I can get to anyone within 20 minutes. If I lose, ok .Come back tomorrow or 6 hours later and play again. If you live in New York and have to sit in traffic and drive for 4 hours and fight for a table and... Well if it is not a good day in for the NY gambler, he stays and chases and well he loses more than he should.

Totally agreed, if casino near you. That is good. But if taking a long trip, like to Vegas. You don't have a lot of time to gamble.
May be they should build casino in every city like a super market. You go in, grab some food and go home. Here, you go in win or lose $20-$50 and go home, no more than that. Pratice your Discipline. Bad idea?

OK, so everyday after work I stop in the local 7-11 store, buy some food and a drink, and $50 worth of lottery tickets. Stick with my system for picking numbers. Very scientific, very disciplined.

OH, and next door is an OTB (off track betting parlor) where I can bet $50 a day on horse races while I much on the snacks I bought at the 7-11 store. All very convenient, very easy. Can even use my credit card.

Do you think this is a good way to make money ??
