I arrived "home" yesterday, considerably earlier than I planned. Have given

much thought as to what I would include in my "report". Don't want to be a

"wimp" or cry baby. Two shoes were enough to convince me I had made a

grevious mistake going to Vegas with "Scared Money". Half my BR of $2K

was earmarked for Truck Payment, Space Rent, etc. Five or six days before

my departure date, I started second guessing my strategy, even after all the

wins I posted. I decided to go with a Labby variation. Was up $175 3/4

thru the first shoe, then it turned, and finished with $35.00 profit. The 2nd

shoe I was again about 3/4 thru the shoe and MM was asking for $70.00

bets. I quit the shoe and walked away losing $120.00. I've learned alot

about this experience. I know I cannot be satisfied betting $10 units. I

so dislike the whole experience. Don't know how Egalite does it for so many

hours. Punvit has the right idea, win three units, split. Going over the 1st

shoe, I would have won 1 unit ($10) with my Flat Bet, would probably just cover the Vig.

It takes money to make money. Might try some of the local Casinos.

    Cheers. T101

Sorry to hear about the trip. I play many shoes to be safe, I don't win enough playing one or two shoes. While I could up my playing level, then you also up the risk when things don't work out. I may play over 15 shoes (if I'm by myself and I control the shoe, these may only take 20 mins), I play these large amount of shoes out of necessity, in other words trying to recoup. But I know where you are coming from, I can think of a lot of other places I'd rather be than in the casino, especially when your losing.

Catch up with Punvit? You could have posted or PM'd your method, you would have got an honest appraisal (tweak perhaps), while we haven't communicated but I was hoping you did well.

Oh yeah, maybe next time add a few zero's on the above figures, it becoming the norm around here by those urgently seeking attention.

Who cares what you think. You haven't played since Christ knows when, yet claims can obtain a marker of $50,000 in any casino (your just as bad as your mat8). Or did you forget that post you made on Gamblersglen. If there is any crap going on, you can be sure Garnabby is involved somewhere, somehow, just how you like it.

You've got to wonder what would have happened if you'd played-out your system.

Without a disposable bankroll, you're right, you can't played with scared-money.

Stay local with a small bankroll and if you quit - up a little or down a bit - try to stick-around to see "what-if" because - even though it's tough to stick-around - you should really know what would have happened so when you have the opportunity to play-out a session you'll either have more confidence doing-so, or you'll know that your tests show you that you should win.

    Continued success soon.

Las Vegas can be a VERY lonely, cruel place if you lose your bankroll. You probably did the right thing by cutting your trip short. I have a friend/mentor who now gambles professionally, and I called him one time when I had to cut a trip short.

He simply told me that he had been where I was more than once.

    Don't give up.
