    For GBV,

Let the public and readers criticize your books rather than speak for yourself.

    For Egalite

I do not know who Tony G is

What I did is HARMLESS to the public. at least, I contributed the forum with ideas . I did not scam or want any attention

It's a personal hobby thing with proof.

My post will end right here with 2 of you......

Let the public be the judge
They know who's telling the truths.

    lol

    Excuse me Mr. May.

I have your book "Baccarat for the clueless" and I read the whole book. I can't find where you say how you play and win at baccarat. Please can you tell what page number in your book or chapter in your book it tells me how to "play baccarat with a positive expectation consistently".

This is serious and it is good that you are here.

Mr. May has been here since my questions. It can be thought that Mr.May will not answer me. This is sad. I am sad. I know that I waste my money on his book.

You have such an incredibly weird question that it is difficult to answer. The book is about how to win at baccarat. I am very surprised you would ask this question. I am not being unkind, just surprised. Is English not your first language? You have actually read the book?

I would try re-reading chapters 3 (card-counting, card-counting is a method you use to win at baccarat), 4 (analyzing the shuffle, this is another method you can use to win at baccarat), 5 (other advantage play techniques, advantage play means scientific winning gambling method).

Perhaps you wanted some kind of betting system. I do not recommend betting systems because none of them work.

If you didn't get anything from the book then I suggest you send it back to the publisher. They should give you a refund.

I'm not unsympathetic to your point of view here, but we should remember the wizard (Mike Shackleford) and his partner Michael Bluejay do an awful lot of work for free on the mathematics of gambling. I have personally made a lot of money out of their analysis.
It is a bit mean therefore to describe them as scammers.

That said, I do think this challenge was unwise. Things began to go wrong when someone designed a progression system to beat the RNG they used in their simulations. They refused the challenge. You could see why they did that, because you couldn't do that in a real or online casino. But it looks bad if you welch on a challenge you yourself set up. They accepted baccarat systems but not card-counting systems. Further, they don't seem to specify the number of cards dealt out at bac which, while probably irrelevant to most challengers, is relevant for credibility and authenticity.Their website now has this to say "Systems that are optimized to try to exploit some flaw in my challenge (rather than general systems which are actually intended to work in actual casinos), are specifically disallowed, as are card-counting systems." That's really dumb, the whole point of advantage play is to find flaws in casino procedures.

Consequently, I think they have undermined the case against betting systems. Betting systems do not work, the case against them is rock-solid, but this challenge has no place in the process of scientific and impartial analysis of gambling systems.

ED THORP (Godfather of 21) stated Counting Card for Baccarat has no effect to influence the outcome of the game. That's Scientific.
so what is your count GBV ???? Hi/Low or some thing like this #### )(*&^%$#@@#$%^&&^%

Analyzing the shuffle ??? this one sounds like Ellis ,,,,very funny ,,,nonsense.

If it works , why do casino still hand out free score cards ?????? make the game much easy for your play. so you don't have to be like MIT team use your brain to memorize it?

I think I am in a better position to know what Thorp thinks having discussed the matter with him over several months. His position is much more complicated than you imply. Basically, he acknowledges that count systems designed the way they are designed for blackjack don't work for baccarat. I agree with this. He has a more open-mind on systems which are optimized for baccarat. That's a very gross simplification of his position but you wouldn't understand the full explanation.

If you can accurately make a mathematical model of a shuffle, you can know before a card is dealt what its value is likely to be. This will make you money.

The challenge is not simply to memorize cards. That is comparatively easy. Processing the information is the difficult part.
