Default South Florida Baccarat Going Strong at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino

Blackjack and baccarat has arrived in South Florida and it does not appear that they will be going away any time soon. The Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida is continuing to offer the table games even after a state Supreme Court ruling against them.

The state Supreme Court has voided a compact between the Seminole Indians and Governor Charlie Crist that allowed for the tribe to offer blackjack and baccarat at their casinos in the state.

At first, it was not known what the Seminoles' legal team was going to decide. After several weeks, however, it is clear that they have decided that doing nothing would be their best option right now.

The Seminoles have continued to offer blackjack and baccarat at the Hard Rock and have no plans on stopping the games anytime soon. It does not appear that the authorities are in any rush to shut down the games either.

The chances are strong that once this case goes Federal, that the Seminoles will win the right to offer the game anyway. They are, by law, allowed any games that are legal under state law. Broward County has legalized Vegas style slots for their pari-mutuels.

I've heard that the games start out at 200.00 minimum bet and when things get really crowded they up it to 500.00 minimum bet.
    Can anyone confirm this?

I've only played "mini-bacc" at some table in some sort of Asian Games Alcove in some casino somewhere. I played mainly to sit down after a lengthy session at the craps table and to prove to my companion that I would win because I read the Wizard of Odds strategy of 'Bet on Banker' and stick with it.

Well, I did get to sit down. Banker won two or three times, Tie won twice but for most of the night it was Players. Fortunately, my companion paid my accumulated commissions on those few wins.

Game sure went fast. Ofcourse no one else was at the table so I guess it would go fast. I had been drinking so I don't really recall much of the game. Very full table next door would have been a slower game but I didn't want to join a table where I wouldn't understand the conversation.
