Anyone wondering what I played, I did not play my latest system that is not likely a good system for 1 shoe play.

I played a variation of the old Birthday Paradox that had me betting that a triple that has shown will repeat.

I also noticed at one point this;

BBP
BBP

I bet very heavily that it would not repeat, and it didn't.

Ironically, it appeared again the second triple later - this is what we had:

BBP
BBP
BPB
BBP

I again bet that a BBP would not be next as it would be 4/5 BBPs which is very unlikely.

A brief note on how I played. My largest bet was 4 units, and
that happened only 2 times. I had 11 bets of 3 units. All other
bets were one or two units. I'm sure Starbuck can verify that
on his spreadsheet. Obviously, this is why my net wager
total was not as high as the other players who were risking much
higher units, sometimes as many as 50 or 100. The value of my
method is that by risking fewer units I can play with a much
higher unit value. So you may view my winnings of 25 units as
being $2500 with black checks or $625 with green. I don't think the
other players would be risking 50 units of $100 or even $25 on
multiple bets unless they have much deeper pockets than I.
There are many ways to attack this game. I prefer the safer ones.

The hitch was that the ties are not counted and it is placed in the next wager. That was about it. Other than that I found the whole experience to be quick and flawless.

yes backid's bets were never more than 4 units verified

also therapy's bets were always 50 units at a time so essentially he was always flat betting

radarman's bets were never more than 9 units

everyone else basically bet in multiples of 10, 20 or 50 units so divided by ten it is relatively equivalent to the single digit bettors

and of course rinzler bet the farm ha ha

Well not yet. If in the future if I find something that can wager on ties or that Dragon Bonus, oh I am sure in hell I am going to make it profitable. Yet at the moment dealing with just Player and the Banker is more than enough.

yeah from the dealer's standpoint i found myself overwhelmed just keeping track of player and banker bets too which is why i decided to just forget the ties

i think unless someone really has a good tie system (oxymoron i know) we should just focus on p and b

We should play without ties - I only "guessed" that a Tie would follow another closely - especially after no Ties hit for such a long time.

I'm very comfortable betting only B and P.

Wow - Congratulations to all the players! This really looked like a lot of fun. If I were playing, I would definitely be betting ties, especially since it is all fake chips. Judging from the results, I would have done quite well, in fact, with my simple tie system, which is to start betting for ties after about 20 hands without a tie. I would've won two tie betting opportunities in this shoe.
I'm quite impressed by how everyone is doing. I was hoping to see Ryan's results, too, but I guess he decided to enjoy the nice weather instead.

Hi all,
I must say that I've enjoied this experience with other members.
It was a mostly choppy shoe and I played favoring chops till ar. 70th decision, then switched to OTBL.
I played with small units with a 10, 20, 30 prog, just pushed the last 10-15 decisions to get advantage on others and take the lead.
Normally my play is more conservative but this was a tournement with fun chips and played accordingly.

if no one objects and no one actually plays ties i think automatically carrying the wager over to the next decision will make the game easier and faster to tally

I am still looking for member who uses some kind of systems that claimed to have "won" hundreds and thousand of units to participate in this tournament.

I know I can't participate in it because I am a loser.

I am also looking for the system seller who claimed to have "won" thousand of units each time he plays to accept the challenge from the wizard of odds. None so far? Why? Because the pussy head only knows how to brag and boast.

Here is my contribution to the forums. I am telling you that if I have a real winning system that will make me thousand of units each time I play, I would be too busy making money at the casinos all over the world and why do I have to boast to everyone here?

Now- you be the judge.

On the other hand, I never read any posts or threads about the tournament participants who ever claimed that their systems won thousand of units each time they played.

If you read the fine print amongst all system sellers...U will find the disclaimer"not responsible for loss"...some confidence huh?

If losing is ur game..maybe u can still make money at casinos all over the world being a pro "cooler'..Pit bosses usually take notice for that kind of talent.

I think that YOU ARE pathetic. There are no shortcuts to became a winner.
It needs 3 main factors:
-knowledge
-training
-mental attitude
I think that you don't own nothing of these 3s.
It doesn't exist system that gives you tons of chips every time you play but there are some ways to earn money regularly from casinos, it's a hard challenge but someone can take it!

i think there is a misunderstanding going on here

loser9 was calling the system sellers and boasters pathetic
he was not calling the tournament participants pathetic

in fact i think loser9 was complimenting the tourney participants for not boasting about their ability to win and yet still objectively proving their skill in fair public play (which is something the system sellers and boasters do not or can not do)

also andreabac is currently one of the leaders in the tourney (first place progression player) and he is one of those whom loser9 was complimenting in his original comments (i think)

i hope this helps clear up the confusion here

he was not calling the tournament participants pathetic

in fact i think loser9 was complimenting the tourney participants for not boasting about their ability to win and yet still objectively proving their skill in fair public play (which is something the system sellers and boasters do not or can not do)

also andreabac is currently one of the leaders in the tourney (first place progression player) and he is one of those whom loser9 was complimenting in his original comments (i think)
