Default EZ Baccarat VS Regular Mini-Baccarat

From a perspective of someone who has never played EZ Bac, it seems like a great idea for both the players and the house. Getting rid of the mistakes, arguments, and downtime of dealing with the pesky and annoying commissions which equally goes both ways in quelling everybody's nerves, creates a more seamless, exciting game play experience and along with the dragon bet you can't go wrong with the "emotion" gamblers (we know better though). The house edge for banker is also minutely reduced but very closed to the 5% commission for the sake of adding the dragon bet.

I've also heard in here, I can't remember the thread, that the way they shuffle in EZ bac somebody said through observation it hurts the progressions for the high rollers and they avoid it like the plague and stick to the other forms of baccarat. It doesn't make sense to me but that's what I read.

Well the house wins more /hourly in the end via more hands dealt but advantage players should be happier with the increased action, thus more units won per hour, as well. Any one with experience with both with good input would be great! I only play online live.

Have you personally played and experienced this? If so what is your take on it? Ran into this game in Vegas but didn't like the possible outcome and payout scenario so I stuck to the regular version and pay my commish.

I'm asking you! the math guys stated that the banker edge is 4.91% so that is as close to the 5% commission of every banker win. the three card 7 banker beats out player once every 43 plays so just a little less then 2 plays per shoe that you would get a push if you placed your bet on that winning banker. but if you don't happen to wager on those *correction* three card 7 banker during the shoe (you play the losing player bet instead) then no commission/push and no banker edge for the house for that shoe! ditto if the *correction* three card 7 banker happens to not win at all during the shoe!!! i guess we just have to take their words that getting the push when the dragon bet wins is close enough to the original 5% commission of every banker win. But the math is done by third party so.... who knows...

Gilly, over at the GG's baccarat-section last year, made a few posts about progressive betting in EZ baccarat. ( Gambler's Glen Message Boards : Baccarat Message Board : EZ bac or whatever happened to French Roulette & Gambler's Glen Message Boards : Baccarat Message Board : Superstitious Players )

In regular baccarat, a successful betting progression on its own must be long enough, but not too-slow that the banker-bet falls behind the commission, or the player-bet behind itself from the beginning of the progression. (Not to imply that, the banker-bet will not sometimes fall behind both... and hence, experience greater variances than the player-bet.)

In EZ-baccarat, a banker-side's betting progression more-easily stays ahead of the commission, but less-easily returns to its beginning because of the times when it "pushes" on an otherwise winning three-card 7; on the other hand, nothing changes from regular baccarat regarding such a player-side's progression.

The Wynn casino in Las Vegas tried EZ Bac and got rid of it.
Wynn probably gets more high rollers than anyone else. I asked about it
and was told that the high rollers hated it. Mostly, they do not like ot rush. Generally they like a very slow game. Lots of time to squeeze cards, talk about the shoe, bang the table and scream monkey. EZ bac rushes them.

As to advantage players, I like the speed of the EZ Bac, but if
you do any type of betting progressions, you will be very angry to find out your large bank bet was only a push. Of course you could place the dragon 7 bet to hedge your larges bets .You just don't want to be doing that to often. The house edge on the dragon 7 is not good. Flat betting would be fine.

I have not seen any difference in the way the cards are shuffled or the bank/player patterns/trends etc.

Baccarat is a good game to play. But those players who are new to baccarat game, must try mini baccarat first. Here is the difference between the two. These games are available as online baccarat and online mini baccarat also.

    1. All of the card handling is done by the dealer the player's don't handle the cards.
    2. Only one employee supervises the table.
    3. A Mini Baccarat table is smaller than the usual Baccarat table.
    4. This smaller table size limits the maximum number of players usually to seven.
    5. Dress is more casual than for those who play regular Baccarat.
    6. The minimum bet has been reduced to $10 or less and a lower maximum limit is the norm.
