    Default Do You Really Believe?

In my years of playing baccarat, I was being approached twice by people who express their interest to invest their money with me. They see me regularly in the casino, observed how I played and come to me asking me to play with their money. One offered 100K while the other did not mentioned any figure, but, I guess it can't be lower. I rejected them politely.

Someone I came to know about on this forum told me about his encounter with people offering to fund his playing as well. Again, it happen in the casino. He rejected as well.

On this forum, once in a while, there will be someone turning up claiming to have a winning system and seek for investors. There is nothing wrong with that, this is a free forum and that is perfectly fine. But, after having play for so many years and seeing things that happens in casino, I have several doubts about how serious these guys are.

    1. If you have a winning system, why are you asking for investors. Go get bank loans, sell your house and raise whatever bankroll you can lay your hand at. You should not have any worry because you have a WINNING SYSTEM.

    2. Serious investors don't come to this forum and give you money. They sought playing experts out in the casino. They can tell.

    3. What you think will happen to you if you lost their money? Never occurred across your mind? Or you didn't mind at all since you have a WINNING SYSTEM?

I thought it would be interesting to see what opinion others have. Let's talk about it.

There have been reports of nefarious activities through casinos in the past, where cash converts to chips then clean cash/cheque...winning or losing a % of bankroll is then not really a factor.

Pitty, things of old Las Vegas, maybe; but here is a report covering World Casinos published 2009.... interesting cases summarized from paragraph 99.

as long as the investor won't pressure you or you can tell them it's like a win or go home situation and you don't have any responsibility if your game went south.

I've tried this with my friends(military colonel's) before and surprisingly, i am far better player using others money than my own.

Why? you're not scared of losing it. But there's always a downside to this arrangement, they'll always hunt you as if they owned you.

Nice points Bryan. But I've never been approached by these investor. Lol... I don't have a sure winning system. Well nobody does. If everybody is playing with the help of the system still then one has to loose. Never trusted these systems that much that offers me a sure winning.

I once had an older Japanese businessman ask me to play for him, although he didn't mention a dollar figure. He told me he had lost LOTS of money at the bac tables and he was impressed by my play but said he didn't have the discipline to play as I do. Some are just not cut out to be profressional players.

Come on man, finish the story for the viewers out there. Did you accept the offer? What happened afterwards? You know, make it interesting.

I did NOT accept his author, too much pressure. I'm willing to risk my own bankroll but won't do that for others and don't want people looking over my shoulder when I play.

Yes, playing with other people's money is a lot of pressure especially when they're going to be looking over your shoulders and if things go bad? We might see you on the evening news (just saying LOL). I'm watching you SoxFan.

    Welcome you are coming back!

    1. But what I smell of what you are writing is 1000000% liar!

    2. Do any system seller force anyone to buy their system?

    3. If I am not wrong you are also one among the system seller!

Give Bryan a break at least he has been mostly positive with ideas for at least a year. I have tried some things he suggest as they are similar to somethings I use in the past and they work and are profitable. So if he wants to charge for information let him, you dont have to buy what he has given for free. I dont think everyone wants to rip us off brother, good luck to all this, is my first post I have admired most of the topics posted here for last year or so and have gained more knowldge and support from this site, thank you all regards Leigh

Let me just clear this misunderstanding.

Do you see when Bryan wrote this? 7-11-10? What did Bryan say? He said that a guy approached him with an offer of 100k to play for him BUT Bryan responded by saying No because he already HAS his own Bankroll and don't need to play with other's money especially if that person might be a shady mob type. What's Bryan's reasoning?

    1. If you have a WINNING system you don't need investors. Get your OWN bankroll any way possible and PLAY your winning system.

    2. Serious investors don't need to come to this forum or any forum to find people with winning systems they will approach them directly at the casino IN PERSON. Bryan was referring to how ludicrous it was that several people during the beginning of this year wrote that they had a winning system BUT needed investors. If you have a Winning system he says get your own Bankroll and Win, see point#1. If you can't then you don't have a winning method.

    3. What would happen if you lose their money? If you have a "winning" system and lose their money some of these shady investors will put you in a world of hurt and maybe have you on the news(missing/dead). If you don't repay their money you lost.
