    Default Ignore Option

For those of you who don't know or forget, there is an ignore option on this forum. Maybe if we ignore the people that we don't like it can help resolve some of the drama.

My list now has 2 people on it. John is 1 of them. Now I don't have to bother responding to him when he posts about me since I wont be able to see what he says. Maybe some of you should consider this option.

People would do good to ignore you and your absolute rubbish.

Such as selling a system that supposedly beats 100 000 hands by betting on the same side after an 8 or 9. LOL What a joke of a system that has no merit whatsoever.

Doesn't sound like the system at all to me. Of course people would lose with a system like that.

time to add you to the list haha. This thing is great.

    P.S

For future reference, I am not selling anything. Get your facts straight. And don't bother responding to me. I can't see what you say anymore.

what is the point of reading it? are you here to learn or get involved in drama? Seems like a waste of time to get involved with all of the drama to me. I have decided that it wastes too much of my time which i could be doing better things with..But if that's what considered fun then so be it.

Yes, that's an excellent option if you don't want to see posts made by certain members that you'd rather ignore. It also prevents that person from sending you PMs and emails.

Here's the link to the FAQ which explains exactly how to do it:

BaccaratForums.com - FAQ: General Forum Usage

Can I block posts, emails and messages from specific users?
If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this:
Through your User Control Panel: User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List. Then, type their name into the empty text box and click 'Okay'.
What if I see something offensive?
You will find 'Report' links in many places throughout the board. These links allow you to alert the board staff to anything which you find to be offensive, objectionable or illegal.

LOL Great point. He can ignore but everyone else reads it so he has no idea what you are saying about him.

A few recurrent behaviors i've noticed over my 2 years here and there in the free and public sites, where ideas, facts and truths may matter:

    1. They who claim to know and have done it all... while themselves always on the verge of another breakthrough, and calling the others closed-minded for simply doubting. (They are the most closed-minded by trying to convince anyone that they have done it all, always win "almost every game", etc.)

    2. When others doubt, or ask for the slightest bit of evidence/proof... they ask, nay demand, that the moderator(s) delete or take some other action. Sometimes then, they will try to make a big point out of leaving/returning... then trying to punish the site, itself, by compelling others to leave permanently.

    3. Or, they will attempt to permanently censor posts/replies from YOU by other means eg, by encouraging the use of an ignore-option. (You can bet your bottom dollar that "poor old John1234, sillE Elli, and the other cry babies still read every single post here. You know, the ones ALWAYS "never coming back, so ban me", etc, because their scam-sites are running low again for "suckers".)

    4. Then it comes to other divisive tactics eg, "Let's take a vote on who should be banned". The popularity-contest card... who can be the biggest clown/story-teller. (When it's the ideas/facts which should and ought to matter most all along.)

    5. All the while, rehashing the same old ones "from 100 years ago" of no substance. (I guess the substance of this reply lay in itself... the observation.)
    __________________________________________________ _____________

    LuckoftheIrish,

Yeah, it is pretty funny. Just that not so, for the ones who "don't know any better", and then end up buying into something stupid. (Why not read the last 10,000 baccarat-systems for free, here and there... at least before paying hundreds of dollars for the latest one of no more value?)

P.S. Lets see who's really ignoring ME... maybe i won't have to read any more "flames". Maybe that ignore function is a good thing after all, lol.

I was wondering what happened to you. I haven't seen you around in awhile. For a minute I thought that you actually got a life.

As you can see I am not ignoring you. Your posts are too funny to not read.

Excellent points Garnabby. You and John both have admirable qualities in dealing with scammers and sellers (same thing in my opinion) like the clowns who made sniper baccarat, and Ellis, and Izak, it is a shame you two do not get along.

And John1234 does not ignore anybody. We both know that.

My, what a change in attitude, from a year ago when John1234 first appeared.

Are you proud of that "stuff", John1234? And didn't i warn you here on this very site about what trying to be a scammer would make of even you?

    LuckoftheIrish,

Thanks for your kind words, and help (in my absences) to keep this board's reputation above suspicion.

John and i had a "falling out" a few months ago, when his Jekyll and Hyde nature "came to light" in irreconcilable ways. Actually, he recently had a post of mine deleted at the GG, "Carlo down the johno", which was my main reply to his ever-increasing taunts. (He threatens moderators with copyright-infringement, etc, endlessly trying to build/rebuild some sort of following... like the other scammers, in a way.) When i get a few more minutes some day, i will re-post it for the record somewhere on this board... and hopefully, Mike will allow it to stand.

Perhaps he refused you a loan at the tables, perhaps he laughed because you couldn't afford to play, who knows.

It didn't take me long to suss out you know nothing about this game, could offer nothing. would never be able to offer anything. Even you realised that, hence the annoucment "I'm going away for six months" hoping your spiffy little side-show board would be full of good idea's and concepts, for your perusal, knowing full well you could offer nothing very little in return. How many times did you state "it's coming" Then the wake-up call came, when I realised, “you don’t even play the game”, plus I must be dealing with a one prized dick-head, if a grown man goes to the lengths of cutting out little rectangle shapes to cover his drivers license before posting an image on the web, and is confused that somebody may actually have more than one drivers license. Then it also dawned on me, small-town mentality, limited exposure to the real world, probably a mommie's boy, I have not been proved wrong.

Thanks for now johno, that quote will make a good starting place here later.

Surprise, surprise... no response again from the self-proclaimed "best-seller" of the "definitive work of baccarat", to even my latest reply at Shuffle master machines . Lol.

"Carlo down the johno" can't properly read even a single post, but goes off on some ridiculous "attack" over and over against anything which moves... the mind-set fostered by a deranged "nut" who's main purpose in life appears to be some sort of vendetta against the most-pathetic scammers in history. (What do bar-codes per se have to do with shuffle-machines; and just how do MOST of those cards get shuffled, sometimes the ones some players utimately tear up? Maybe old sillE can tell you, next time you share the BTC piss-pot... fingers mean runs, and palms mean chop?)

Instead, the little "expert", another "Jesus of Baccarat", lol, continues merrily along... trying to re-write the same old useless posts/replies from over five years ago.

This is going to be a lot of fun, johno... highlighting the ingnominious "paper trail" of the most-screwed-up guy here.
