Im starting live testing at dublinet. my goal is totriple my bankroll three times. from 1k to 2k--2k to 4 and 4 to 8k. If it passes that i will consider it ready for casino play.

Generally players pull their bets back after a tie hit.Some kinda re-eval karma.(I just do it so i don't look like a dickhead). Sounds like a good place to drop in a trigger..Heres a of recent Tie heavy shoe, live b&M, 8 deck autoshuffle.

I got 10 units with a high bet of five. Im sure there are better out there, but I just kinda like coming up with my own methods--even if less effective. For me--thats part of the fun. Like John1234 said--it really isnt all about the money. But if I could steady make 5 units per shoe id still be pretty happy. That said--this is still a looonnngggg ways from bullet proof. If I get real quite and you dont here from me for a while...

I picked a difficult +6 out of that shoe and it wasn't pretty. The threes were running wild and for most plans, that tends to keep the scoring down with me.

I was as high as +9 but when it started to fall back, I exited at hand 53 to keep the win.

GH, I agree with you 100%, regarding looking at session results, it doesn't matter that those LW's are not only a pain in the ass and a push. So long as you reach your session goal, how you do it and how long it takes is irrelevant.

My advice to you is put together a list of 6~8 triggers. It your trigger is based around the Tie, you might feel a little impatience for those shoes that only produce two Ties or even worse for any shoe that doesn't produce a Tie (it can happen), especially if it's a slow game. I don't agree with your summation of the Tie switch, but hey that's your business.

Amazing that John1234 the wonder expert kid who is looking to fleece fellow players not being familiar with Star , bit ironic that.

Anyway for the decent citizens of the forum, there are many ways to play Star. Get a hold of the manual "from the poor house to the Penthouse", probably one of the best pieces of work that ever did the rounds. There are links for it on most sites. The last time I saw a link was on the VLS site from a post by Bliss.

Skip all the bullshit game waffle and just focus on the MM and more importantly the principals of it.

Then you can modify it to whatever you want, such as a 20~30 step progression if you like. Examples on how to do this, I freely posted at GG.
