    Default Casino Comps and rebates

Heres a topic I haven't seen on this site. It might even deserve its
own forum. The subject is getting casino comps. Food, drinks,
cash rebates, points and discounts toward merchandise.

Do any of you factor this into your decisions about where and how to play?

I am in a casino every week, I never pay for a room or meal.
Some places are giving free match play coupons, free chips.

Last week I played three days and made $190. A taxi driver would earn more. The food, drinks, room, and transportation were paid for.
I got an email today that I earned $1,200 in player points that can be used to buy merchandise in stores and shops at the casino.
My wife has put together a shopping list. There are several clothing stores,an electronics store, an appliance store etc.
Oh, a Host called up today offering me free show tickets to a headline
singer that my kids want to see. I said can you make it four tickets, "Sure, No Problem". That is $500 worth of tickets.

The casino is smart. If I still worked for a big company I would have health insurance and paid vacation. Now I get this, and the family is happy.

Lets start sharing information about where the best comps are.
We should all become "Comp Wizards"

I'm sure you're aware of milking the casino for comps employing a team to off-set sizable bets at the baccarat table (or craps table, for that matter)....

I have never had partners in the casino, please give me an example of how this would work.

I see how partners can offset bets when they have match play coupons.
But say you and I stand at the dice table. I play the pass line, you play don't pass. If a 12 is rolled, the pass line still loses while the don't only breaks even.

The casino still gets its edge. How would you do it?

Yes, you're right -- this works much better at Bac.

The only way one could avoid throwing a 12 is if one could manipulate the dice, and if one had the ability to do this then it would make more sense to just play the game for profits rather than for comps alone.
