    Default Oscars Grind

Use an Oscars Grind to grind out the profits when a guarantee win comes about. Oscars Grinds is a progression where you bet 1 and if it looses you stay at 1 and anytime you win you go up 1. The Oscars Grind is very successful. Try it. You will see success. Try following the shoe that hits the first 6 wins and you will win. It will hit a bad streak and never go after 1 unit. Go for the gusto. Walk up to the table knowing your going to win. If you dont feel your going to win. Dont play it. Your insticts will tell you so. Kick back and relax and follow your heart. Are you going to win? Or are you going to lose?If you dont feel it than walk away. If you feel it than kick thier ass. Think possitive. Beat em hard.

LOL You got it graylove. Everyone listen to this. This is the best progessive way to play the game. Also are you possitive or negetive when you place a bet? If you feel good you will make money. Do you have a stop/start point?

Oscar's Grind is a relatively good progression for somebody close to 50-50. For instance, if you are picking consistently at 48-52% right, then Oscar's Grind can turn that 48% into profit. Watch out if you drop below 42% winners. Below 40% Oscar's Grind will drive you into the ground. A deadly sequence with Oscar is alternating wins and loses late in a shoe... WLWLWL near the end can be trouble.

Yes you are right fulkgl. I have seen it get wiped out near rhe end of a shoe. I usally stop when im up 20 units. Ive messed with Oscars Grind on the computer and went for it all. Some shoes made over 200 units. But if you pick the non-dominite side it could be disaster.

Rule 1: The goal is to win one unit at the end of each progression and, whatever larger bet might be dictated by the other betting rules, will be dropped to a bet just large enough to gain one unit. This rule overrides.

Rule 2: Bet 1 is one unit.

Rule 3: If Bet 1 is lost, Bet 2 is one unit.

Rule 4. After a loss, the bet is the same as the bet just lost.

Rule 5 After a win, the bet is one more than the bet just won.

Rule 6 *My addition to the "grind" Keep a sub count of all banker wins by units won, when total reaches 20, add a lose to your progression and win it back.

Oscars grind is a famous progression which has its merits, but can also be somewhat suicidal. Architect, it was working for you really well the other day--but it did stretch you out a good bit. I think it is good for a baccarat to be familiar with as many progressions and styles of play as possible so as to have them in your bag of tricks.

Being a baccarat player is kinda like being a football coach. You need to have offensive and defensive plays to encounter the different schemes(shoes) you will face. You need to decide which style of play you are most comfortable with. Do you want grind it out (conservative), air it out(agressive), or somewhere in between depending on situation you face.

I think whatever you decide you must be comfortable with the style of play you choose.

The one thing to remember with Oscar is commissions. You are playing to win 1 unit and then restart. As the wagers get higher and higher you end up winning the sequence, but losing money because of the vig. Of course you can always play Player only, but then you have a slightly higher house edge to get your win.

Reportedly from an old gambler named Oscar. Claims he had never had a losing day playing dice with this method. the goal is to go for one unit. up one when you win but only enogh to win one unit. stay the same when you are losing. example it you are down 5 units and are one level seven you would only bet six which is just enough to put you ahead one units. then the series is finished and you start again betting one unit looking for a one unit win. the exact rules can be found by gogleing oscars grind. its an old method but works very well but you must have a strict win and loss strategy. i use a consevative win 5 units. lose 20 units. stop loss. i win five our of six sessions. have only gone to twenty once. hope this helps. richard
