    Default Interesting Stuff

I have been away for the summer and have not checked in. Lots of going on - some new names. I see Ellis was here in September and there was a lively discussion with Garnabby and BaccaratKid. Interesting reading. What is the "OT count" he uses? One never knows where one can get an idea.

John1234, do I owe you some shoes?

I haven't been playing. Stuck on an island with no casino. Not too shabby. It's good to get a fresh look.

I don't believe the shuffle procedures in Bacc (or BJ for that matter) can produce random cards. Another way of saying is that different shuffles may produce different patterns. The question is: Is this really true? and If it is can we exploit the bias? A function of the card order?

Is there a way to make a good "guess" as to what is more likely to occur in the next group of shoes (not necessarily next decision but maybe)?
