    Talking A 90-Day Challenge...hmmmm

I was playing recently at a local casino, won my 4 units and colored up to leave. While I was coloring up, a small Asian man, dressed in a business suit approached me and asked if we could talk. He told me he had seen me playing for a few months and I always seem to be coloring up...lol. I replied by saying that I have found a way to win between 4-8 units per shoe, sometimes immediately, sometimes it takes the whole shoe, or somewhere in between.

So he offered me a challenge.

He told me if I could win consistently for 90 days without taking a loss, he would bankroll me with $1,000,000. We would go to Vegas once a week, his treat, and he would split four units with me, 2 for him and 2 for me. His units would be $5,000, we would need to play at the Bellagio or Wynn, to be able to fade that action. That would be $10,000/week each!!

He said I would have to keep each scorecard and track where I won the four units. He will evaluate them, and upon his satisfaction, he would be ready to bankroll me.

Now, if you know about systems or strategies, they will lose eventually...right? Maybe, I found the hardest part was just to get up, while you're up! lol

    So here was my proposal...

I usually play low limit and have no problem winning $100 every few days, the grind of playing Baccarat really tires me out. So...if I win $100 for 30 days=$3,000. If I succeed doing that, the next month, I will shoot for only 2 black units, which would be $200 for 30 days=$6000. If I succeed, going 60 days without a losing shoe, would that be enough for him?

    He said ok!!

So, I will begin this on Sept. 1st and post here weekly to keep you guys informed. At the end of the 60 days, I will let you know if he kept his end of the bargain or not lol.

And if this works for me...I will post this strategy here for free and let all of you try it for yourself.

I know if sounds very 'out there', but think about it, even if you had no strategy whatsoever, have you ever found yourself up four units? Of course you have. Now imagine having a strategy that helped you consistently win that much and WALKING AWAY! Which is the hardest part.

If we ALL walked while we were up even one chip. There would be no casinos left lol. Vegas wasn't built on losers...it was built on greed.

Anyway, wish me luck, and I will keep you guys posted! Thanks.

Well I've decided to start early, actually wed. I'm up 24 units or $600 so far. I haven't ran into too much of a challenge yet. The most I found my self down was 3 units and I got even and left that shoe. For the most part leaving when you find yourself in battle with a difficult shoe is very important. Don't stay and fight with a shoe when there are plenty of other more favorable ones out there.

Anyway, this was my update. More to come in a few days.

Playing with somebody else his money is a different ball game, but I understand you are still in the test face of showing the other person it is a good method you have. I ones played a shoe fore somebody and lost I think 10 units and the guy walked out realy angry ( he also asked me to play fore him). And I thought he was a nice guy!

OK, this sounds like it has an interesting angle to it. I'll monitor this thread to see what the outcome is for sure.

I'm on a decent set of winning days right now but a straight 90 day run sounds like a pretty difficult test for sure.

Good luck to you and here's hoping you'll be pulling down $5,000 a day in December!!

Sounds a bit far fetched to me, but who knows, I guess anything is possible. Nevertheless, good luck.

    Pitboss,

I think you should tell that guy to look for a professional player who just doesn't have his bankroll. (I think i'll go over to Ellis's forum now to ask him if he does that sort of work, just out of curiousity.)

Anyway, good luck to you... but be careful with strangers.

Garnabby, No I don't do it and I don't recommend it. If you are winning how could you have no bankroll? If you are winning that steadily with your own money you can keep ALL of it and increase your unit strategically. In other words if you are winning steadily you don't need or want to play someone elses money. Also, all of those I've watched try this failed. Subconsciously they play different or worse, the owner of the money starts calling the plays. But this one does sound particularly interesting.

Reminds me of a funny story though. I was teaching 7 guys how to play the ladder system at the black table at Turning Stone. Just after the first shoe started Jack McCann said play my chips Ellis. I gotta go to the john. When he got back he was $800 up and started walking away, Where you going Jack? Back to the john!

It's an up as you win system that really likes 3's. The 2nd shoe started 1,3,3,3,3,2. We won every bet and had just won the 32 bet. They closed the table right then and there and didn't reopen it for two years.

We left each up 138 units from that partial shoe plus 68 units from the first shoe. In total about $150,000 in just over an hour after commission.

Both Keith and Aegis were there. Wasn't even time for lunch yet!

I think they call that "hearsay", or "good luck". (And if these are the only such stories you have over all that time playing... then i guess you're unlucky.)

Most serious posters wouldn't even bother with such... they've got "more going on" that.
