Thread: Need some advice...

Hi, I'm new to Baccarat. I've come up with a bit of a system and was wondering if any of you had any advice for me.

Here's what I do:
I flip a coin (Heads = Player, Tails = Banker)
Head over to the local casino (we have about 6)
I bet $200 on the first bet, if I win I leave, if I lose I bet $400 on the next bet. If I win, I leave with $200 profit (less commission) if I lose I bet $800. If I lose the 3rd bet I leave with a loss of $1400.

Basically if I can win more than 7 visits in a row I end up winning money.

What do you guys think? I know it's progressive betting and that's a no-no.

Where do you live? I live in Brampton.

What you are doing by flipping a coin is you are affirming a guess. Any bet at baccarat - if you bet one event at a time - is a guess.

Your method is a prelude to a concept that ultimately works. Not as you play it but as a "concept" of planning guesses before betting.

I won't get into detail about it here.

So to answer your question, by betting one bet at a time and betting each bet based on what you plan to bet, you are ultimately not doing better than 50/50 where sometimes you will win and sometimes you will lose.

True, but I only have to win 1 of any 3 hands to make my quota.

I've always found that playing progressive is basically just waiting to lose, but in this case you only have to win 1 unit.

I don't know of any Canadian cities with "about 6" casinos, let alone each offering card-games.

Just curious.

Do you have a record of the actual outcome from your visits?

I realize it would amount to 3 decisions - or less - per day!

I would be interested in seeing each days 3 decisions - win or lose - meaning that if you win your first bet and you are ready to walk-out. Wait for the next two P or B decisions - I am not interested in ties - and record those -then walk.

You will end-up with something like this.

obviously. I would like to see this for as many decisions as you can provide.

Once you have this, I would like to suggest something.

My advice is instead of focusing on picking Bank or player, focus on a strategy that will take advantage of the inevitable streaks in the game. No, I'm advocating a follow the previous decision strategy either.
