    Default Progessive betting

    hey guys,

New to the forum....what if you bet $1 on Banker everytime you win and then $2 on Player if you lose and $4 on P if you lose again and finally $8 on B. I think of it as having 4 bullets and hoping to collect 15 chips before I run into a sequence of 4 loses in a row. I know it obviously does not always make it but i would think you will end up ahead following this method and stop right at 15 if are lucky enough! ?

So basically the betting sequence would be BPPB if i keep losing.

So you risk $15 in total and try to get 15 winning bets before you lose 4 in a row. I went thru about 100 of the shoes i played at many casinos in Vegas and in Biloxi and seem to vbe up for the most part.

Can you please share your thoughts on this and maybe compare it to some of the shoes that you guys have?

    Thanks,

    Andy

    bacmaster,

Here's my comment about that from a different thread here: Good Success Playing Runs and Using Parlays? .

Looks like Bambura just applies a different "template" still: New Betting Technique Favour for Favour: The PPBBB Pattern + Labouchere .

I guess the more aggressive you want to get, the more it would be better to switch to a PPPP-type "template" because if you're just going to have to get that lucky, why pay the commissions.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, as i pasted in the thread: Lead, follow, or get out of the way... , i am not the only one "plugging" a (negative) progression-bet.

QUESTION: Hi, Wizard. Let’s say I have $300 to gamble with, and can accept a 25% risk of ruin. What should I do to maximize my upside? Thanks! — Jerry T from Hertford

ANSWER: I would make the banker bet in baccarat. My betting advice would be to do what is known as a two-step progression. First, bet 1/3 of your bankroll. If that wins, walk away. If that loses, then bet the other 2/3. Again, if you win, walk. With any tie, just bet again until the bet is resolved. Here are the probabilities in baccarat:
    Banker: 45.86%
    Player: 44.62%
    Tie: 9.52%
The probability of a banker win, given that the bet is resolved is 45.86%/(45.86%+44.62%) = 50.68%. The probability of losing both steps of the progression is (1-0.5068)2 = 24.32%. The banker bet pays 19 to 20, so you will have a 75.68% chance of winning $95, and a 24.32% chance of losing $300. June 7, 2008 . (At http://wizardofodds.com/askthewizard/baccarat.html .)

Trying out system betting, objective is to win a small amount say $10 on every outcome. However if loses increase bet progressively, 10, 30, 70, 150, 310, 630. Prepare to lose six hand in a row. Bet method just follow the previous outcome.

Well any comment. Every hand if I win I get $10. If I don't lose 6 hand in a row I make $10 om every hand. If I play 40 hand I win $400.

Odd of losing 6 hands in a row is 98.432%.

    Any comment, please.

It's wouldn't work for 6 Progressive betting of 1,3,7,15,31,63, perhaps you try 7 Progressive bet of 1,3,7,15,31,63,127 with 2 of the power of 7 Bank/Player combination (128 probability). It may look scary but I've try over 10,000 games the result is quite good (won 1280 units)

Glad you could share your rich experiences. Every game post a big question mark for the result, Banker, player or tie.

Win sometimes & lose less, most of the time, the game will bite you eventually, that the certainty. Don't be greedy, the longer you play the greater the risk. Quit while you win or take your loses. You can come back another day & play the game.

If you are unlucky too bad, all is luck man!

But you can quit any time. Not easy!

    No percentage make sense ???

Small win & big loss, Discipline .... accept your win & loss.

Can't make big money, you just lose big. It's a game. Psychology ... your mind plays trick on you.

Just have fun & keep your cool.

    Wow!
As a mechanical player I would love to see results like that come out of a shoe! I just about do backflips when a nice run of 10 or 11 shows up!

My longest streak so far was a few 11's and one 14 on Player. That was a very nice day!
