Baccarat is one of the most complicated table games. Luckily for us there are only three outcomes player, banker and a draw which actually makes it one of the simples game based on luck. Neither can its outcome be predicted nor can you calculate odds of receiving a certain card. So, just give up on these types of tactics. They are doomed to land you in big trouble!

So, should you just give up and leave it all up to the luck of the draw?

Most do but why should you! There are many ways in which you can improve your chances at the baccarat table. These are but a few.

Watch out for baccarat tables that use a lot of decks. Stick to ones that use the least.
Larger numbers of cards mean that your chances drop, that's why it is important to find the table with the least amounts of decks as possible. Take your time and look around carefully. Remember it's your hard earned dollars your about to risk!

Never play with more money than you can afford to loose.
This is probably the most important contributing factors for loss. When a player gambles with more than they can afford to loose they tend to make bad decisions Rather than taking a loss and slowly getting back they tend to make lager bets to get the money back more quickly and usually with devastating results.

Stay away from baccarat games where big money is at stake - UNLESS YOU'RE PREPARED TO LOOSE IT!
Baccarat is a great game and you can win big money but to win big you have to take a great deal of risk. Unless your wallet is a bottomless pit stay away from these tables, go find a table with the smallest minimum bet and have fun until you become an experienced baccarat player. Its better to win small that to lose big - especially early in your baccarat career.

My addition to this is to always watch a baccarat table first to get a feel for it.

Maybe this helps maybe it doesn't but its something I always do. I gives you time to think about your strategy and get rid of any nerves. There's no time for mistakes at the table! In this time think about how much money you are willing to risk and the value of the chips you will wager.

In my experience betting on the banker is the safest bet - usually.

If you look at the odds the Banker has a slight advantage over the player so a smart player will usually go banker. It may only be a slight advantage but it is enough to turn the tables in the houses favor in the long haul.

never bet against a streak.....when you bet with a streak, you are only wrong once, when the streak ends. the chop is also a streak, in other words, BPBPBP, 6 chops in a row, is just like BBBBBB or PPPPPP. i have seen a lot of people bust out playing a martingale against a streak.

The ONLY thing I could add in my humble opinion is this ...

To determine what table minimum you should be playing at always divide your BANKROLL by (50), and what ever that number is (rounded down) is the table you should be playing at. For example; if your Bankroll is $250.00 then divide by (50) which equals (5), thus, you should probably be playing at a $5.00 Baccarat Table. If your Bankroll is $750.00, then again we divide by (50) and come up with (15), thus, you should be playing at a $15 or $10 table whichever is available.
