Thread: Need help with cockroach pig, big eye and little pig

Hi everyone

at the casino i visit they just got a scoreboard that has these asian scoreboards on it...does anyone please tell me how to create these patterns and how are they used to figure the next bet...the asian patterns that are on the scoreboard are "big eye", "little pig" and "cockroach pig"...any help would be greatly appreciated...

"I see many variations of recording a shoe. I understand most except one that I can't figure it out. Here are some that I've seen

1. Typical O for banks and X for players recorded horizontally.
2. Same as 1 except B and P instead of O&X
3. Same as 1 recorded vertically
4. Same as 1 recorded across, i.e.
BBBB BB
PP PPP....
(I asked the guy who recorded this and he said it helps him see the zig zag... like a graph mode)
5. O & X & T recorded vertically in fours
OXOX
OTOX
OXTX
OTTX
(this method is in conjunction of the method you've mentioned and when they see the "tie line" like the 4th row, they play the tie bet.
6. Another method is like #5 without the ties recorded. If entries per column is even (such as column 1 where there are 4 banks), they mark a "+" on top. If entries are odd (such as OOOX or XOOO etc. ) they mark a "-" on top. After series of columns they will make a bigger bet on the fourth entry based on if the shoe is more "+" or "-".


Some players will use multiple score cards to keep track of multiple recording style and when they see a hand that have multiple similar indications, they make a bigger bet."

If you have a facebook account look under Baccarat Master. It is some software I think that specifically cater to what you are inquiring about. It costs about $250 which is quite costly. I have not tried it at all so I can't tell you how effective it is. Also if you own a Palm Pilot or a Palm OS phone I think there was a software that teaches the method of recording you are looking for. I remember it was around $25 or so. It was not costly like many others.

I've seen a few software packages out there that do the mapping, but I have a complex Excel sim model that I wanted to add this graphing feature to and I just can't get my model to match the pictures using their instructions/rules. I am looking for help with a play-by-play (cell-by-cell) mapping to map a Big Road into a Big Eye (Boy) Road. Once I get that logic mapped its easy to do the Small and Cockroach Roads.

Anybody out there who can help? I'd love to share the Excel model as open-source after I proof it and have someone validate the proof.

Hi - In the spirit of joint learning, I programmed an Excel module to score the Big Eye, Small, Cockroach and Marker Roads from a Big Road. It is basic in construction, but gets the job done. As a beta version it is ready for testing/proofing. I believe in open sourcing (why spend money when you don't have to) and will post the module after peer review.

My drive is to better understand trending and interpretation. I'm looking to find a few folks interested in test driving the module, providing feedback and engaging in data modeling. Success for the discussion is peer discovery and learning.

Ok viper, finally, I have mastered all 4 roads i.e. Big Eye, small, cockroach & sixth road. You can post some sample shoes (in excel) and I will walk you through cell by cell. For a start, if you want to plot big eye, from the MAIN trend, look at the previous cell (vertical down). I shall call this -1. For small road, it will be -2, cockroach = -3 and sixth road = -4. It's kinda tough to teach you in this text editor. We need excel. We need the cell by cell reference. Feel free to ask any questions related to these roads.
