Something else Mike told me a while back, "As you've likely seen by now, I'm not looking to sell any sort of system, etc. via this forum. I just saw that there wasn't a place where people could come together and talk about baccarat strategies freely, without censure. Since I'm a baccarat player on a never-ending quest to improve and love reading about the game, it's something I wanted on the internet for myself and knew that others would likely be interested as well. I'm hoping some of the banners will eventually be able to take care of the hosting bills but hasn't happened yet, but as the site gets more popular I'm sure we'll be fine."
Just looking around, Mike, appears we've lost a few of the "gang". (Sorry for my role in that, Mike, but not for my "take" on it.) On the other hand, after catching up with copying out some posts here... what a lot of new (and old) material. What more can anyone hope to get, and for free?
As for all the "mud-slinging" on, and other (scammer-) abuses of this site, i want to remind a handful of the most-serious players among us that i've already set up a separate place to meet at
Welcome - Login . It was initially set up (at no cost/profit to anyone) for those times this site was down, but has since grown a bit on on its own... sort of a "home away from home".
Of note there recently, one of the sections was made private, and john its administrator as long as he wants the "job". This means that he'll be on the "lookout" for those who continue to show a real interest in the game, and who make similar selfless and significant contributions anywhere on such forums.
(BTW, this forum is in no way connected to Mike's, in no way a competitor (LOL)... mostly an end-goal for the few who want to "take their game" to the hightest possible levels.)
UPDATE: john has decided not to no longer admin that group.
