    Grab the Gold,

I haven't looked at this type of progression yet, so i'm asking you what you think of it. Obviously you have more experience than i with the specifics involved. Roulette basics - THE GUETTING PROGRESSION .

Thanks, if you can help us.

    Hey Garnabby,
This is a STANDARD "WIN" progression schema that has been around for ages, and it does makes sense to a point. Basically, it entails increasing your bets slightly as you are winning while taking some profit down. John Patrick covers this in his books and its nothing new. I think the link you provided me, to take a look at the model, makes this entire schema look a little more complex that it needs to be.
    Basically, it works likes this:

Let's say your base bet is $1.00, okay then ...

    $1.00, Bet WINS, next bet,
    $1.00, Bet WINS, next bet, 1.5 * (X)

$1.50, Bet Wins, next bet, BASE BET TO ENSURE PROFIT
    $1.00, Bet WINS, next bet, 2 * (X)
$2.00, Bet WINS, next bet, SAME
$2.00, Bet WINS, next bet, NEW BASE BET ($1.50), AND TO ENSURE PROFIT

$1.50, Bet WINS, next bet, SAME BASE BET
    $1.50, Bet WINS, next bet, 2 * (X)
$3.00, Bet WINS, next bet, SAME

And so on. The idea here is that when you lose you have still incrementally made a profit. The REAL trick is to WIN at least Four to Six Times in a row! Itis just a process of increasing , then reducing, to ensure you are keeping some profit as you are winning, knowing at some point you will lose, and when you do, you'll have more that if you has just straight bet through the WIN streak.

When finally lose, you revert back to your original Base Bet and don't increase you bet until you WIN.

I am usernametaken from Gambersglen. Those posts here are not from me. Stealing another person's username... that's so juvenile. I'm honored you wanted to steal my posting reputation, but you are a jerk (and you know that).

Don't be asinine. I have posted on gamblersglen in the baccarat forum for two years. You knew that... and that is why you wanted to use my name here (on this baccarat forum... what at coincidence, huh?). Inconsiderate (dishonest) people do it all the time, but it's juvenile (more suited to the pre-teen boards). --- the real "usernametaken."
