Seth, if someone has "big money" why in hell's name would they bother gambling? Use that money to create businesses, or just to invest it, then live off the income.

Live off the income? Have you seen U.S. interest rates lately? Even real estate, once a guaranteed 10%pa slam dunk, has been running negative numbers for almost four years.

Ever heard of the stock market? That's where people with big money go in search of bigger money, because for rich and poor, the definition of enough is always just a little more.

Given the right approach to the challenge (and, of course, a big enough BR) casino gambling is more predictable and therefore a lot less like gambling than investing on Wall Street, or...well, have you seen what's been happening to gold and silver these past few weeks?

As for "who cares if you lose $1,000 playing at a casino?" - millions of people can't afford to lose even half that much, but they are lured to the tables either in ignorance, or because they hope that just this once, the numbers won't go against them. Fun? Hah! Obviously, you don't live in Nevada, the state with the highest number of single-victim auto deaths anywhere. Outside of Nevada, they're called suicides.

I'm here to warn as many people as will listen that betting randomly with an inadequate BR is a long-term losing proposition, but that the house edge is not unbeatable with the necessary resources. Finally, where did you get "millions"? Not from any of my posts or corroborative data for Target, for sure - maybe you were confused by the bozo who "tested" Target with bets exceeding 100,000 units?

Hello this is very interesting posts...

again, if you can win that's wonderful i really admire you.. but not many are able to do that.... i mean i don't know exactly the percentage who can really win in life time... i mean even you win 5 years what is going to happen in next 10 years???

well, but it is true that stock and housing also involve the risk and that's not safe bet anymore.. silver gold same thing....
so does opening own business.....

Again. i do not want to be so negative but best way is to have decent job...cut down the spending, find the something you can enjoy without spending lots of money.. like me i like collecting the silver coin... and since i get it with face value so i don't care if that goes $10 per OZ... it's slow but sure profit....

And those people who lose millions.... i don't know why they do it, but maybe they are looking for some excitement in life...
maybe they got money from parents.. who know.....

but my point is that if you are trying to make living or trying to invest money on Baccarat to win, then I would look for somewhere else.. i don't say other ones are easier, but I would try to stay away from gambling world....

I mean i do believe that people can beat house edge but that takes so much of luck and discipline i mean i do not think it is for everyone and one can not copy others... it takes more than just technique, but mental toughness... and certain personality needed to win.. i mean sort of fearless...

Recently,, i canceled Cel phone bill which were almost $80 per month.. and i got plan with $15.. see i saved around $500 per month already....

Again, people if you look in long term, you can look around and see anything you can save.. save $50 per month is $600 saving in one year....

people think losing $500 a month at casino is nothing, but after 1 year it is $6000 and 10 yeras os $60,000

Again, back to my point.. i would suggest people not to think gambling as a investment.. if there is a way to do it then there will be like Gambling Adviser.. like Financial Adviser...

Not everyone keeps his money in US dollars or with US banks. I sure don't. I can lock in a relatively small amount of money for three years and get 5% interest here in Korea. One year, gets you 4%. 3 months gets you 3.6%. All far better than 1% in the states or Canada.
