I see there are almost 12,000 members here. Why are there so few posters? Come on people, POST something about baccarat near you, how you are doing, the conditions, the rules, the behaviour of casinos, your treatment, the local industry as a whole, your friend the baccarat dealer and their secrets, your amazing voodoo secret system results, anything you like... Come on, shoot the breeze. Let's stimulate more action here...

    Hi GEOTT.

First off, I don't appreciate you coming on here trying to disparage the integrity of the forum (perhaps you're the owner or member of a competing forum)... why are you doing this?

For one, this forum has 100% no direct relationship with any casinos. Even if we were to have some sort of direct sponsorship with a casino, we would never "sell out" and change the integrity of what we're saying in order to appease them.

Have we had spam problems in the past in baccaratforums.com? Yes I admit that. As basically a one-man crew here (one-man being me, Mike) it's tough to moderate posts sometimes and separate the wheat from the chaff, the true posts from what can be construed as "shill" posts. But I feel we've done a very good and honest job at that. I'll definitely be adding a moderator shortly to help with that as well, since traffic has been definitely picking up.

What we do though, however, is that in order to pay for the costs of hosting and server, if someone mentions the name of an online casino like InterCasino or Superbook, I have the forum auto-link it to our referral link. That's it, nothing more. If someone plays at that casino, we get some money that goes to pay for our hosting and domain fees. I wish we were making big money, but no we're not making big money, it's just helping (keyword: helping) pay our costs to keep this site running.

As far as you coming on here and accusing the forum of being dishonest and "devoted to casinorewards group"? First off, you're coming onto our board, complaining about dishonest practices and you yourself come on here and shill for your own website! That should tell the members here what type of person you are, as well as not showing well for VLS.

If I see even one more shill post for vls or post disparaging this forum, I'm banning you GEOTT. It's one thing to criticize me or the forum, that's fine I can take it. But when you accompany your criticisms with a conveniently attached link to a competing forum? Sounds like libel to me. This forum is for discussion of baccarat, not for shills for other forums and websites.

    GEOTT,

That's the vlsroulette baccarat site. How many posters have you seen there lately? Looks D.E.A.D to me. How many more members there? Same with the all the other sites i posted in the thread: Can You Make Enough Money to Live On From Online Baccarat? . Baccarat is a specialty game with a very high turn-over, for obvious reasons. As i quickly learned, users come/go all the time to all these sites; and it doesn't make a darn bit of difference. Something else i discovered was that a significantly large number of persons have nothing better to do than spam these sites, including registering with all sorts of usernames day after day. (The lyj...xyz series of usernames guy, eg, who i think(?) finally gave it up. Would Mike spend day after day posting, then banning himself shortly afterwards? Look at this link for the remaining evidence not banned, the second-last post. My Open Challenge to Ellis at Beat the Casino Forums . Or the last posts of Baccarat Third Card Rules: What Are They?)

Personally, i prefer this site because of its open, laid-back attitude; and the additional effort Mike, himself, puts into software updates and maintanance. I, on the other hand, would have deleted posts he didn't but later realize hey, that poster was actually serious through the foreign, etc, "accent" on it. I can only imagine how hard it is to set down a new style here while at the same time working through issues such as these. From my own experiences with VLS and BTC i can attest to the ARBITRARY deleting/closing/moving/on-and-off locking of threads (when everyone gets upset)/leading-question threads; and the GG often seems to revolve daily around someone posting something, and someone else taking (profuse) offence to it. BUT SOME LIKE IT THAT WAY, FAIR ENOUGH. VLS is okay if you want to go around in circles every few months with an other "new" roulette system (which lasts for a couple days or weeks); a be "called on" to donate. I'd rather have some casino ads pay for their own undo-ing here. Use their money against them for a change.

Mike has already made some serious baccarat-related posts of his own; you haven't done better. And advertizing in some form pays the bills everywhere, right? Do you really believe (multi-national corporate) casinos set up and monitor such sites? Post how you have been 'cheated', as that is the word you used somewhere here. 'Honesty' is another strong word. BTW, did you try any other searches for on-line casinos? (Maybe BFs will come up in more of any baccarat searches because it has the word 'baccarat' in it.)

Why wouldn't you have just asked Mike, even if you've already found him guilty of something just in case you got it wrong? Going "around people", digging up "twilight-zone" bit-material, needlessly promoting other site(s), etc, leads me to believe the internet has reached a new low. (I thoroughly and openly confronted Ellis head-on with fact after fact before using more aggressive but still-fair tactics with him. And i don't see overwhelming evidence of computer-generated membership, etc, here; but why would there be a need for any such "activities" at any time, when it's the posts which matter? (Some sites don't even list the membership totals; and some just the defined-active members numbers)). Archer, eg, isn't a shill because he mentioned Foxwoods. And before you start accusing me of something, i agree with you that paying for anything on line is a bad idea.

That you feel the (pressing) need to warn the community (of 'fellow gamblers') seems to indicate YOU admit there is one here... unless you're one of the fakes talking to the other fakes.

Sorry mate, i just don't get it... "the kiddies' game is down the street". (Some poker guy's expression.)

This topic connects to the other thread Can You Make Enough Money to Live On From Online Baccarat?
